Coppie would be a wonderful pet for a family with children, she is patient, and delicate, a little submissive with the other dogs.
Story: Coppie was brought to the S.P.A.R>E shelter by a man who wanted to sell her to us, we kept telling him that we never buy dogs, he was insisting trying to convince us that she was a police dog (In Egypt German Sheperds are called Police dogs) of course we knew that she was a mixed bred and had nothing to do with the police. We called her Coppie from “ Cop”.

Nez-rose has a white spot on her back that Nez-noir doesn’t have (this is the only difference between them ).
Story: She came to SPARE on the 7th of December 2007 (she was only 3 weeks old). She was found by a French archeologist in Sakkara tombs while they were digging. She found 4 puppies without mother, the mother was shot and the babies were still suckling. Valerie, the French lady, bottle fed them for a week and then brought them to SPARE. Her boss in the work was very upset with her, because she was caring for the puppies and was crying for what happened to them. She has 3 sisters (Maboule, Nez-rose and Serpolet).

Story: Hansle was found in a building under construction in Meadi chained from top to bottom to another dog called Grettle. A young American young lady saw them on her way to attend a meeting, she thought this situation was temporary , 4 hours later on her way home she saw them in the same situation, it was dark and cold, she just took them home and called S.P.A.R.E …Amina called them Hansle and Grettle, Grettle was adopted few months later and Hansle is still waiting for a nice and loving family.

Story: Selim was brought to be castrated vaccinated and released, but due to his very bad health condition when he arrived, we kept him under observation for 2 months, we wanted to feed him, deworm him and prepare him for the castration (he was too weak), during these 2 months we just fell in love with him and kept him with his wife Selima and his 2 other buddies Azim and Azima. 2 months is more than enough to fall in love, Selim was happy from the first second he came to S.P.A.R.E , he felt secured and had all the food he wanted.

The workers hear sudden noise and then they found him in between other dogs.He was so young and he had epistaxis in his noses and Vet.Omayma Hagag looked after here and gave him enogh attention and love .These considered one of success stories for S.P.A.R.E to save life.
