When Kookie came to the shelter, he was jumping around like a little puppy. We think he decided to put the past behind him, and simply start fresh.
Kookie is a 7 year old purebred male Cocker Spaniel. His family relocated a few years after buying him, and simply decided to leave him with the doorman before they left.
The doorman didn’t feed Kookie or give him water, leading the dog to develop a serious case of malnutrition. Kookie also developed an allergy that left him with open sores on his nose.
Kookie was saved by a young girl who brought him to S.P.A.R.E. where he was nursed back to health.
Kookie has since found a home with a loving family in Germany
