A beautiful Stray Balady girl was rescued by an Egyptian Gentleman from Horrible kids in the street and brought her to SPARE. Luckily 'Pepper' now named 'Lucky' has found a home in Egypt with Egyptians that only care for what a dog is on the inside and wanted to save a precious life from a shelter. Lucky is happy in her new home surrounded by a loving family.

A few weeks back El Alsson Schoold had a carnival celebration on their premises. They used that as an opportunity to fund raise for charities, one of them being SPARE. SPARE is grateful to the entire Faculty and students of El Alsson for always giving their dedicated support as well as being a role model environment for promoting compassion and empathy to all those in need, animals and human alike. Ringo. Old blind Ringo. Animal abuse in Egypt is as surreal as it is REAL, just like the rest of the world. Every time you BREED, aquire on impulse or give an animal "free" to a petstore or some one you do not "enquire" on or know of... Then you are guilty as well. Adopt don't shop. Spay/neuter don't breed. Don't be ignorant on purpose... Don't be shallow... Don't be.cruel...

Over the years, some of SPARE's highest priorities have been to raise awareness and knowledge regarding the dire conditions and horrible treatments of animals in Egypt... SPARE has for over a decade been targeting schools, education centers and orphanages both Public and Private to educate and raise the awareness levels of children. Children are the future of our society and thus are CRUCIAL in the battles against animal abuse and ill treatment. Children can also influence their families, lovedones and surroundings a great deal.
